Warwick and Leamington MP James Plaskitt has today given his wholehearted support to the ‘One Hour Four Lives’ campaign which has been launched today by Warwickshire’s Chief Fire Officer, William
Brown.
Mr Plaskitt sent a message of support and, following an invitation from William Brown, has agreed to become an ambassador for the campaign.
The campaign has been designed to raise funds for the Warwickshire Firefighters Family Fund, set-up following the death of four firefighters in the Atherstone warehouse fire.
The campaign will endorse a number of fundraising events next year, the first of which will be a charity concert at the Spa Centre on January 19th.
Mr Plaskitt said, “I am delighted to lend my full support to the ‘One Hour Four Lives’ campaign. The Firefighters Family Fund is a vital source of support for the bereaved families. I would
encourage all my constituents to lend their support to the families of those who risk their lives to protect us.”
