Nobody waiting more than 18 weeks from GP referral to hospital treatement, compared to 283 wating more than 26 weeks in 1997

Only 142 people waiting more than 13 weeks for inpatient (including day case) treatment, compared to 1,180 in 1997

Nobody waiting more than 11 weeks for outpatient treatment, compared to 684 waiting more than 13 weeks in 1997

100% of urgent suspected cancer referral patients seen by a specialist within two-weeks from GP referral to first outpatient appointment.
Building Improvements
Substantial additional capital investment from the Government has enabled Warwick to open:

A new A&E Department

A new Cancer Unit, due to open in 2008

A new medical school opened at Warwick University and the hospital
