MP welcomes start of work to A46/M40 Junction 15 Bypass

 Motorway

I am delighted that the Department for Transport has announced the work has now started on the £76.8 million upgrade work to the Junction 15 bypass on the M40 near Warwick.

I have been pushing the Highways Agency to make this improvement for some time and I'm really pleased that work has now begun.

This scheme will reduce congestion and improve safety at the junction, and the new 1.8 mile dual carriageway bypass will improve journey times for those travelling on the A46 as they will be able to avoid this busy junction.

The Highways Agency also tells me that they will be holding an Exhibition for motorists and interested parties at the Sherbourne Village Hall on friday 4th April (noon to 8pm) and Saturday 5th April (10am to 4pm) where they will be happy to answer questions about the works.
